Easy Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Baked Mac & Cheese

Enjoy this delicious, cheesy baked macaroni and cheese.



  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • ¼ cup reserved starch water (or milk)
  • 3 cups mild cheddar (shredded)
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • ½ cup parmesan
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Prepare pasta as directed, al dente.
  3. If using- reserve a quarter cup of starchy water before draining pasta.
  4. Drain pasta and return to pan.
  5. Mix in butter and cream cheese until melted/soft.
  6. Add in seasonings and liquid- milk or starch water.
  7. Add in half of the cheddar and all of the mozzarella and parmesan.
  8. Mix until the cheese is melted.
  9. Pour into an 11×13 pan.
  10. Sprinkle the rest of the cheddar over the top.
  11. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  12. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
