All you need is boneless skinless chicken breast, a few ingredients such as BBQ sauce, liquid smoke (we like hickory), onion, seasonings, and you’re good to go. Of course, you need a slow cooker / CrockPot as well, because again – we’re making slow cooker BBQ pulled chicken.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
- 24 oz bbq sauce
- 1 tbsp liquid smoke
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 medium yellow onion (minced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt & pepper for taste
Instructions
- Place chicken in a slow cooker.
- Drizzle the olive oil all over the chicken breast.
- Add in the BBQ sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, garlic, and minced onion.
- Cover, and cook 4 to 5 hours on low.
- Once done shred the chicken using forks.
- Do a taste test, and if needed add some salt & pepper.
- Serve as is with side dishes, or make into a sandwich!
