I like to make this old fashioned gingerbread loaf around the holidays, and pass them out as gifts. Everyone loves it! I also serve this gingerbread loaf at my holiday parties, and I make sure to have plenty of hot chocolate to go around!
This gingerbread is made of flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. Once the loaf is done, it’s slathered all over with homemade cream cheese frosting, and sprinkled with pecans. Sounds delicious right? Well it is!
